Recording Session

for teens/young adults
who have participated in our program

We plan to make a poetry cd with selected recordings to celebrate your poetry, for the enjoyment of youth in our community, and for educational purposes.

Emmy Pérez, project director and poetry instructor for the Spoken & Written Word
Poetry Project &
Lecroy “Lee” Rhyanes, dj and poetry instructor,
will host a recording session for high school aged students
who have participated in the Spoken & Written Word Poetry Project. 


Please bring copies of your poems to the session. 
All poems will need instructor approval before recording
and instructors will provide a recording permission/release form
for parental/guardian signature for all students under 18.


We will begin at 11:30am and we plan to stay at the library until closing time (5:30pm)
but please let us know in advance if you can't arrive until later in the day
to record so we know to stick around.
